CORRECTIONS, PAYROLL ADJUSTMENTS & PAYMENTS FAQ NOW AVAILABLE
As part of our ongoing communications supporting transition to OP&F’s new pension administration system, tentatively planned for October 2026, we are pleased to share the next resource in this series: the Corrections, Payroll Adjustments & Payments FAQ, which is available on the Employer Knowledge Hub for your reference.
One of the most important changes in the new Employer Portal is the distinction between Payroll Corrections and Payroll Adjustments. The FAQ explains when each should be used and introduces a simple rule to help determine the correct reporting method:
Never Reported = Correction
Previously Reported but Wrong = Adjustment
The FAQ also includes information on:
What is considered Payroll Data
When to use the Payroll Adjustment indicator
How corrections and adjustments differ from other Work History Report correction fields
Managing banking information and payments in the Employer Portal
Monitoring payment status and recurring payment options
